CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) - The Oregon State University Foundation raised $130.8 million in the fiscal year that ended June 30.

Foundation spokeswoman Molly Brown says that’s a record amount, topping the old mark set in 2007-08 by $4 million.

Brown told the Corvallis Gazette-Times (https://is.gd/TDH8u1 ) that $81 million rolled in during the Campaign for OSU, a multi-year fundraising drive that ended Dec. 31.

The other $50 million came in the first half of 2015, including a $1 million gift from the parent company of Portland’s BridgePort Brewing for a new research brewery.

Brown says the Campaign for OSU has already produced tangible results, including a number of new or renovated buildings, more than 600 new scholarship funds and 80-plus endowed faculty positions.
