SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) - Police say they’re investigating a shooting at a luxury home in north Scottsdale that has left one man wounded.

Scottsdale police are characterizing Friday afternoon’s shooting as a domestic violence incident.

They say the man has been taken to a hospital with a gunshot wound and his injuries are serious but not life-threatening.

Police didn’t immediately release his name.

They say the man got into some kind of argument with his ex-wife, but it’s unclear if the man was shot or he shot himself.

Police say the ex-wife and the couple’s daughter went to the home together. But the daughter stayed outside while the ex-wife contacted her former spouse and some kind of altercation occurred.

The daughter heard the shot fired and called police.
