BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) - Sheriff’s deputies have seized 2,100 bags of heroin during raids at two Buffalo homes.

Erie County Sheriff Timothy Howard says the Wednesday night raids also turned up cocaine, marijuana, three guns and $12,000 in cash.

Investigators say the investigation began with a recent overdose death in the town of Concord.

A 26-year-old Buffalo man is charged with drug possession and weapons charges. Dellsean Hamilton is being held in a Buffalo jail while awaiting his initial court appearance. It’s unknown whether he has a lawyer.
