BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - Authorities say searches of vehicles belonging to a retired North Dakota doctor missing in southwestern Montana have yielded no clues.

Seventy-four-year-old Patrick Fitzpatrick, of Bismarck, was last seen in Bozeman, Montana, two weeks ago. His truck and trailer were found abandoned in a rural area. He also left behind a van in the parking lot of a Bismarck fishing tackle shop.

The sheriff’s office in Montana’s Gallatin County says deputies found medicine in Fitzpatrick’s truck that family members say he took for heart issues.

Nothing was found in the truck or van that gave any clues to Fitzpatrick’s whereabouts.

Authorities believe Fitzpatrick might have been confused and wandered off, or gotten a ride from someone else. They say they have no indication of a crime.
