PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Police say a woman is in stable condition after she was wounded by a stray bullet while driving in North Philadelphia.

The woman was turning on to 17th Street around 11 p.m. Thursday when police say a bullet entered the trunk of her car, traveled through the backseat and the driver’s seat before wounding the woman in the back.

Two other women in the car were not injured.

Police say they found 10 spent shell casings on the corner along with some crack vials.
