BRIDGEWATER, Mass. (AP) - The Plymouth district attorney says the death of a young boy found unresponsive at home after an illness is being investigated, but foul play is not suspected at this time.

District Attorney Timothy Cruz said Saturday that the family of 9-year-old Evan Fisher said he had flu-like symptoms for several days and had been under the care of a doctor.

Evan was found unresponsive and not breathing at his home in Bridgewater at about 5:30 a.m. Saturday. Emergency responders performed CPR, but he was pronounced dead at a hospital.

Cruz said an autopsy will be conducted to discover the cause of the boy’s death.
