MACON, Ga. (AP) - Authorities are investigating the shooting of a man who was wounded by gunfire as he left a party in Macon.

WMAZ-TV reports (https://on.wmaz.com/1MhhyBl ) the shooting happened early Saturday on Houston Road. Bibb County sheriff’s officials say 20-year-old Charles Clark was leaving a party at about 1:20 a.m. when he got shot while inside his truck.

Authorities say Clark was shot in the left side of his neck. He was taken to a local hospital, where authorities described his condition as stable.

Investigators were talking to witnesses at the party to try to piece together what led to the shooting. No arrests have been announced.
