MINOT, N.D. (AP) - A walking bridge in Minot that was damaged by the 2011 Souris River flood has finally been returned.

Crews returned the Victoria Walking Bridge back to its original resting place on Friday after it had sat on the bank of the Souris River for the past four years. The bridge was originally removed after it was damaged by debris during the devastating flood.

KXMC-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1MAeEEQ ) a local contractor has spent the past several weeks repairing the bridge to get it ready to be used again.

Two cranes worked for an hour Friday to raise the bridge from the river bank and lower it back to its original position.
