JACKSON, Wyo. (AP) - A small earthquake jolted some Jackson Hole residents early Friday.

The 1.9-magnitude quake struck at about 2:20 a.m.

Geophysicist Bob Smith of the University of Utah recorded the quake, but due to its low magnitude and extremely local effects the U.S. Geological Survey did not.

Several residents told the Jackson Hole News & Guide (https://bit.ly/1HBlDfw ) that their homes shook and knocked pictures off the wall.

Jackson police dispatchers reported no calls about damage.
