CLEVELAND (AP) - Hospital officials say a 26-year-old Ohio man is in serious condition after a hit-and-run incident during a charity bike event outside Cleveland.

State Highway Patrol Sgt. Jeff Carpenter says investigators believe Braden Tucker, of South Euclid, had been riding with a group of cyclists during the VeloSano Bike to Cure charity event in Chagrin falls.

Authorities say the man was hit by a vehicle Saturday morning after not yielding the right of way to a southbound vehicle.

He was flown to MetroHealth Medical Center.

The Chardon post of the State Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
