CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - Police say a North Carolina woman has been charged with 69 theft counts stemming from stealing the financial information of more than 30 people in the Charlotte area.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police tell local media outlets that 43-year-old Karen Leblanc was arrested Harrisburg, North Carolina earlier this month and charged with 37 counts of financial card theft and misdemeanor larceny.

Authorities allege she stole information from more than 30 people in both North and South Carolina.

In a release on Saturday, authorities said that, since Leblanc’s arrest, she has been charged with more than 30 additional counts. She is jailed on $122,000 bond and it was not immediately known if she had an attorney.
