WATERFORD, Maine (AP) - An agricultural fair that has taken place in this rural Maine town since 1852 is entering its final day of the year.

Organizers bill the Waterford World’s Fair as a “family oriented agricultural fair” that has carried on for generations in Waterford. The fair began on Friday and is ending on Sunday. Events include cow chip bingo, a steer and ox show and a skillet throwing contest. There will also be music and food vendors.

Waterford is located in Oxford County, about 40 miles west of Lewiston.
