LAND O’ LAKES, Wis. (AP) - Two people were injured when a single-engine plane crash landed at a Vilas County airport and flipped over.

Sheriff’s officials say the homebuilt plane was landing at Land O’ Lakes Municipal Airport Sunday when it came down nose first and flipped upside down.

Authorities say a 42-year-old man piloting the plane and a 40-year-old female passenger, both from Wadena, Minnesota, suffered minor injuries.

WJFW-TV (https://bit.ly/1VkKgnL ) reports the airport is closed while the Federal Aviation Administration investigates.
