NASHVILLE, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas State Police say five people died in three separate auto crashes in the state during the weekend, including a triple fatality crash in Howard County.

The agency says 23-year-old Jose Puente of Ozan, 20-year-old Jesus Puente of Ozan and 26-year-old Blake Harding of Nashville died Saturday when the car driven by Jose Puente went off U.S. Highway 278 north of Nashville and crashed into several trees.

Troopers say 55-year-old Robert Earls of Havana was killed when the pickup truck he was driving went off Highway 309 in Logan County and struck a tree.

The third fatality killed a Perryville man. A report says 52-year-old Michael Dean Munn died Saturday when the motorcycle he was driving crossed the center line of Highway 9 and collided with a sport utility vehicle.
