ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - An Anchorage grand jury has indicted a 30-year-old man on charges of sexually abusing two young girls.

State prosecutors say Christopher Mosely was investigated June 15 after the girls’ grandmother reported the incident.

Anchorage police took the girls to an outpatient clinic for an examination and interviews.

The grand jury Thursday indicted Mosely on one count of sexual abuse of a minor and two counts of attempted sexual abuse of a minor.

An abuse conviction carries a sentence of 15 to 30 years in prison. Conviction for attempted sexual abuse of a minor carries a sentence of 12 to 20 years.

Police say they believe Mosely may have abused or tried to victimize other children and are asking the public to come forward with information on other cases.
