HUNTSVILLE, Utah (AP) - Police divers have recovered the body of a Clearfield man who apparently drowned in the Pineview Reservoir.

The Standard-Examiner reports (https://bit.ly/1OrHp7S ) that the Weber County Sheriff’s Office issued a press release Saturday stating that 29-year-old Seven Samuel Hughes had been reported missing by family members Friday from the Anderson Cove campground.

Deputies used newly acquired sonar equipment to search the area by boat and detected the body Friday night. The body was recovered in about 20 feet of water, 20 to 30 feet from the dock.

Deputies say Hughes appeared to have drowned. An autopsy will be conducted on the body at the state Medical Examiner’s Office.

An investigation into the death is ongoing.
