MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - Authorities are investigating a bomb threat that prompted the evacuation of a Montgomery shopping center.

Montgomery police spokeswoman Martha Earnhardt told WSFA-TV (https://bit.ly/1CLYtEs ) the threat Monday afternoon was in an unspecified area of the Shoppes at Eastchase and the buildings had been evacuated.

Police searched the area and no explosive device was found.
