HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) - Hartford has announced plans to open four cooling centers city to battle the summer heat.

The North End Senior Center, South End Wellness Center, Parkville Senior Center, and the Hispanic Health Council, will be open Monday for residents who need to get out of the sun as long as a heat advisory remains in effect.

Forecasts call for temperatures to top 90 degrees on Monday.

Similar weather on Sunday resulted in the opening of cooling centers in Bridgeport and South Windsor.
