PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - Multnomah County Sheriff’s detectives are investigating after an inmate was found dead in his cell in Portland.

The Oregonian reports (https://bit.ly/1TLyXDn ) that 29-year-old Lloyd Milton Virnig, of Sandy, was found dead Friday. Detectives are still investigating the cause of death.

The Multnomah County Medical Examiner conducted an autopsy Saturday and says there were no obvious signs of foul play.

Virnig was accused of heroin possession, burglary, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and fraudulent use of a credit card. He was found dead during a routine check.
