PHOENIX (AP) - A man who pleaded guilty in the 2014 sexual assault of a 91-year-old woman in Tempe and several other crimes has been sentenced to 14 years in prison followed by 16 years of probation.

Ekwunzie Job Owen Jr. was sentenced Monday by a Maricopa County Superior Court judge.

Owen pleaded guilty March 11 to sexual assault, kidnapping and three counts of public sexual indecency.

Owen’s arrest last November in the Oct. 18 attack and several previous indecent-exposure incidents in Mesa ended a manhunt in the area east of Arizona State University’s Tempe campus.

The series of incidents began in Mesa in January 2012.
