HONOLULU (AP) - The Hawaii Department of Land and Natural Resources is closing the popular Manoa Falls trail for two mornings for repairs.

KHON-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1MCF2On ) that the trail will be closed from sunrise until noon Monday and Tuesday so workers can remove a hazardous tree within the forest. Hikers will be allowed on the trail both afternoons.

The Manoa Falls trail gate will be closed with a “trail closed” sign during work hours. DLNR officers will be on site to help with safety precautions.
