CATALINA, Ariz. (AP) - Five puppies were found dead in plastic bags on the side of a street in Catalina, a community on the northern outskirts of the Tucson area.

Pima County sheriff’s Deputy Tracy Suitt said two children found the dead puppies Saturday.

KGUN-TV (https://goo.gl/tPVLFh ) reports that it originally thought the puppies were decapitated but that the animals were actually partially eaten by wildlife.
