SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - California Highway Patrol is working to clear a traffic jam at the Dublin interchange of Interstates 580 and 680 that was caused by a stalled construction machine.

The San Francisco Chronicle reports (https://bit.ly/1If1RKc) troopers expect to reopen the two left lanes of I-680 by 9:30 a.m. at the earliest.

Bay Area trip-planning website 511.org estimates the usually nine-minute drive south on I-680 from Danville to the interchange is taking motorists more than an hour and a half to complete.
