PHOENIX (AP) - Arizona transportation officials say westbound traffic on Interstate 10 is once again crossing into California but that there’s still a closure and detours in southeastern California due to a bridge collapse in that state.

Arizona officials closed westbound I-10 at Quartzsite after Sunday’s bridge collapse at Desert Center and had traffic detour onto State Route 95 to reach other routes into California.

However, the portion of westbound I-10 in Arizona that was closed was reopened Monday afternoon.

The Arizona Department of Transportation said the travelers entering California on I-10 can take State Route 177 to State Route 62 to rejoin I-10 in Palm Springs.
