HAVRE, Mont. (AP) - The 17-year-old suspect in the stabbing of three Montana State University-Northern students admitted in juvenile court to sexual intercourse without consent.

The Havre Daily News reports (https://bit.ly/1Ii4R8x) Justice Brown admitted to the rape charge during a hearing in juvenile court.

Judge Daniel Boucher set Brown’s juvenile equivalent of an adult sentencing hearing for Aug. 4, when the victim will testify on video.

Brown pleaded not guilty in May to the stabbing of three students at their apartment.

He’s being tried Nov. 16 on three charges of attempted deliberate homicide and an aggravated burglary charge, which he also pleaded not guilty to.
