EL DORADO, Kan. (AP) - Authorities say crews have recovered the body of a 26-year-old man who apparently drowned in the Walnut River at an El Dorado park.

KAKE-TV (https://bit.ly/1g2tVUW ) reports the man was with his brother Sunday morning when he tried walking across a man-made waterfall and got swept away.

El Dorado police said Tuesday the man’s body has been found.

Emergency crews have been looking for the man, whose identity hasn’t been released. They scaled back their efforts Sunday afternoon because the water level was too high to continue.

Divers were brought in Monday morning to resume the search.
