NAPOLEON, Ohio (AP) - Authorities in northwest Ohio say a Canadian truck driver was killed when his tractor-trailer struck another one, causing a fire.

WTOL-TV (https://bit.ly/1Iejisk ) reports the crash happened Monday as traffic was stopped at a train crossing on U.S. Route 24 near Napoleon, roughly 40 miles southwest of Toledo.

The driver of the first tractor-trailer became pinned and died when the cargo area of the second tractor-trailer caught fire after the collision. The second truck was pushed into a car during the crash, and four people from that vehicle were taken to a hospital with injuries that weren’t considered life-threatening.

The driver of the truck that caught fire wasn’t seriously hurt.

Both trucks leaked diesel fuel, prompting authorities to temporarily close the roadway for cleanup.
