PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - Authorities say a morning fire damaged six food carts near Portland State University, and four of them are likely a complete loss.

The Oregonian reports (https://bit.ly/1Ii4Am7 ) that Portland Fire & Rescue officials say the fires were reported at about 4:30 a.m. and quickly extinguished by firefighters.

The blaze destroyed the Krua Bangkok, Rice and Noodle and Comfortably Yum food carts and damaged The Fusion Box and Phat Cart.

Damage estimates and causes were not immediately available.

Traffic on nearby streets was temporarily blocked while firefighters monitored propane tanks. The streets reopened before 8 a.m.
