ROCKVILLE, Md. (AP) - The Montgomery County state’s attorney’s office says it has dropped charges of indecent exposure and trespassing against a Maryland lawmaker.

State’s attorney’s spokesman Ramon Korionoff said in a statement Tuesday that the June 27 incident involving Democratic Delegate Ariana Kelly is better suited for family court.

According to court records, Kelly’s ex-husband, Barak Sanford, told police Kelly was dropping her children off at his Bethesda home when she argued with Sanford and his fiancee.

Police say Kelly, 39, lifted her shirt and exposed her breasts during the incident.
