TOWN OF EATON, Wis. (AP) - Authorities say they have found the body of a 51-year-old Milwaukee man who went missing while swimming about a week earlier in Manitowoc County.

The Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office says James Mast’s body was found Sunday morning by a sheriff’s deputy in Eaton Twin Lakes. Crews had searched the area for Mast since he was reported missing July 12.

HTR Media (https://htrne.ws/1Gy4lfb ) reports Sheriff Robert Hermann said someone in the water with Mast had lost sight of him. He says the search by rescue crews was made difficult by murky water that reaches depths of more than 20 feet in some spots.

Manitowoc County Coroner Curtis Green says the results of an autopsy are expected in six to eight weeks.
