GILLETTE, Wyo. (AP) - A 66-year-old man has died after he struck a truck that pulled in front of his motorcycle in Gillette.

The Gillette News Record reports (https://bit.ly/1I9IBHO ) that the man was riding his motorcycle Saturday when a 37-year-old woman in a Chevy Avalanche pickup turned left in front of him. The motorcycle crashed into the truck, sending the rider flying.

Gillette Police Department Lt. Chuck Deaton says the man was taken to Campbell County Memorial Hospital where he later died from his injuries.

The woman has been ticketed for improper lookout while making a left turn. Deaton says more or amended charges against the driver may be filed after the crash is investigated.
