CODY, Wyo. (AP) - Authorities at the Grand Canyon National Park say a limited search continues for a Cody river guide who went missing seven weeks ago.

The Cody Enterprise reports (https://bit.ly/1g1s9mQ ) that 22-year-old Morgan Heimer had been helping guide a raft trip on the Colorado River when he disappeared on June 2. A spokeswoman for Grand Canyon National Park confirmed Monday that a downsized search for Heimer is ongoing.

Search and rescue teams conducted an intensive eight-day search following Heimer’s disappearance from the Pumpkin Springs area, but turned up no sign of him.

Park officials say posters of the Cody resident have been posted and rangers continue to ask everyone taking river trips to watch for any signs of Heimer.
