PARSIPPANY, N.J. (AP) - More than 40 tow trucks lined up in New Jersey to pay final respects to a tow-truck operator.

Robert “Butch” Hubert’s flag-draped casket was placed atop a flatbed tow truck outside the funeral home in Parsippany on Monday.

The 69-year-old had died in Blackstone, Virginia, on July 14. Even though Hubert had moved his business to Virginia in 1998, the Whippany resident was remembered in New Jersey as a friend to all.

Friend Mike Corigliano tells the Daily Record of Parsippany (https://dailyre.co/1KipfEm ) Hubert was there to help anyone who needed it.

The trucks escorted Hubert to his final resting place at Restland Memorial Park in East Hanover.
