STREETSBORO, Ohio (AP) - One person has died and three others are injured following a crash in northeast Ohio involving a vehicle police suspect was involved in a theft.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred Tuesday afternoon in Streetsboro. Police were responding to a theft report from Aurora Farm Outlets when a Chrysler Pacifica matching the vehicle description fled the scene.

Before police could catch up with the Pacifica on state Route 43, it swerved left of center and struck a UPS truck, swerved back and struck a Ford Explorer, then swerved again, striking a freightliner truck.

The patrol says a female passenger in the Pacifica was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was hospitalized with critical injuries. The drivers of the Explorer and freightliner truck also suffered minor injuries.
