DETROIT (AP) - New Detroit Inc. is sending 120 high school students to business camp.

The five-day camp begins Wednesday at Wayne State University in Detroit and moves Thursday to Michigan State University in East Lansing.

New Detroit says Camp Enterprise instills leadership skills while showing students business practices and teamwork. It also gives many of the students their first look at living on a college campus. There is no cost to students.

The students are starting their junior or senior years in high school.

Sponsors of the camp include Ajax Paving, the Dresner Foundation, Ford Motor Co. Fund and both universities.

New Detroit is a private, nonprofit coalition that includes civil rights, community, business and education leaders.
