Businessman and 2016 Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump says Planned Parenthood should “absolutely” be defunded.

Mr. Trump was asked by The Blaze TV host Dana Loesch about recently released undercover videos recorded by a pro-life group that show Planned Parenthood executives discussing abortion methods and prices for fetal tissue.

“I was looking at some of those things, and the way that woman’s eating her salad … she’s eating her salad and … it’s just disgusting,” Mr. Trump said.

“It’s disgusting and absolutely they should be defunded,” he said. “I thought, you know, it’s so cavalier and so horrible. I just thought it was incredible.”

The latest video, released Tuesday by the nonprofit pro-life Center for Medical Progress, shows Planned Parenthood’s Dr. Mary Gatter talking about the price of fetal tissue. Another recently released video by the group shows Planned Parenthood’s Dr. Deborah Nucatola explaining how to “crush” the fetus to preserve vital organs.

Planned Parenthood has said the videos are selectively edited and misleading, and part of a “decade-long campaign” of deceiving the public and “terrorizing” women and their doctors.

Mr. Trump said he saw the first one “in great detail” and parts of the most recent one.

“So anyway, the answer is, in my opinion, they should absolutely be defunded,” he said. “In the case of Planned Parenthood, you know — anybody that watched these various videos … I mean, it’s very sad to watch it. It’s very sad, and it wasn’t even that — it was so bad and yet, you know, there was such a cavalier attitude that this woman, I guess she was a doctor or something … so cavalier. I thought it was a disgrace.”
