BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - An advisory committee in North Dakota is seeking proposals for research to benefit the state’s grape and wine industry.

The North Dakota Grape and Wine Advisory Committee advises the state Agriculture Department on the distribution of $80,000 in funding every two years. Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring says the group is now seeking applicants for 2015.

The deadline for proposals is 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 15.
