DELAVAN, Wis. (AP) - Authorities searching Delavan Lake have found the body of a missing swimmer.

Delavan Police Chief Raymond Clark tells WISN-TV (https://bit.ly/1OzXOqQ ) the body of a 49-year-old man from Arlington Heights, Illinois was found Thursday morning. The man was swimming about 1,000 feet from shore when he disappeared Wednesday night.

Boats, dive equipment and a helicopter were used in the search which was suspended about 3 a.m. and resumed about 6 a.m. Thursday.
