DAYTON, Ohio (AP) - The first of what’s expected to be a long line for products from a redeveloped plant in southwest Ohio will be shown off Thursday.

The Dayton Development Coalition says Fuyao (Foo-YOW’) Glass America Inc. plans to have a commemorative windshield that will be signed and placed into Dayton History’s displays during a ceremony at Carillon Historical Park.

Fuyao is building up operations at the former General Motors plant in the south Dayton suburb of Moraine. The China-based maker of automobile glass bought 1.4 million square feet at the site last year. It expects to employ 400 workers in Moraine by the end of this year, with plans to eventually have more than 1,500 workers there.
