BELOIT, Wis. (AP) - Police say three people were shot and wounded at a nightclub in Beloit.

Sgt. Mark Franseen says officers responded to shots fired at Adiktion Night Club just after 2 a.m. Saturday.

Franseen says people were scattering as police arrived.

Two people went to Rockford Memorial Hospital with injuries and one person was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center in Janesville.

The Janesville Gazette ( ) reports all the injuries are considered non-life-threatening.

Beloit police are still investigating the shooting.
