COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - Two motorcyclists have been killed in separate weekend accidents in Ohio.

Columbus police say a 46-year-old man was killed early Sunday when a motorist attempting to make a turn put his Pontiac Grand Prix into his path. Police say Hector Walker’s motorcycle hit the car and Walker was thrown onto the asphalt.

Police say he was pronounced dead at the scene at 1:03 a.m. EDT. The accident remains under investigation.

Meanwhile, the Ohio State Highway Patrol says a man was killed Saturday evening in Preble County, in western Ohio.

Troopers say the motorcyclist went off the road at a curve and hit a guardrail. He was dead at the scene near West Alexandria.

His name or other identifying information weren’t released immediately.
