ALBUQUERQUER, N.M. (AP) - Albuquerque police say one teen is dead and two others wounded after being shot at a park early Monday morning.

Officer Fred Duran says the shooting occurred at about 2 a.m. at Pat Hurley Park in the vicinity of Central Avenue and Yucca Drive.

Duran says officers responding to multiple 911 calls found one victim lying on a street and two others in the park itself.

A large group of teens was in the park. Duran says they were interviewed and released to their parents.

Duran said it’s frustrating that the teens were out and in the park at such a late hour.
