July 27—An East Stroudsburg University professor had been named for a top spot in the Eastern Psychological Association.

Bonnie Green, a psychology professor, was recently appointed teaching chair of the program committee for the associaion, according to a news release from the university.

She has been involved with the association for over a decade and has given close to 20 presentations in the areas of teaching psychology and psychological research. Many of her presentations, posters and symposia at the association have been co-authored by undergraduate student researchers and fellow ESU psychology faculty members, the release said.

Green held a seat as a board of directors for the three years before she was selected by the board to serve on the program committee as chair of teaching based on the quality of her scholarship, her commitment to EPA and her connection with the discipline, the release said.
