FORT DODGE, Iowa (AP) - Authorities say two people have been killed and another injured in the crash of a speeding car just outside Fort Dodge in Webster County.

The Iowa State Patrol says the crash occurred a little after 8:30 p.m. Sunday while the car was passing other vehicles and then went out of control. It ran into a ditch, hit a utility pole and rolled before coming to a stop.

The patrol identified the two fatalities as the driver, 38-year-old Chad Grell, of Fort Dodge; and one of his passengers, 34-year-old April Montgomery, of Otho. Another passenger, 25-year-old Amanda Imhoff, also of Fort Dodge, was hospitalized.
