CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (AP) - Naval Air Station Corpus Christi remains under a boil water order even though a citywide advisory was lifted over the weekend.

Military officials say more water testing was scheduled Monday after some supplies were positive for E. coli.

Corpus Christi officials last Thursday issued a boil water notice after E. coli contamination was confirmed at two sites in the Flour Bluff area. Additional testing was done and Corpus Christi lifted its boil water advisory Saturday night.

But on Sunday authorities at Naval Air Station Corpus Christi reported some water samples tested positive for the bacteria. Military officials issued a boil water advisory until further notice.

A message left with NAS Corpus Christi wasn’t immediately returned Monday.
