MICHIGAMME, Mich. (AP) - Michigan State Police say a 46-year-old woman who recently moved from Wisconsin has died in the central Upper Peninsula.

The fire happened Sunday morning in the Marquette County community of Michigamme, about 35 miles west of Marquette.

State police say in a statement that Colette Heasley recently moved to the area. She was a former resident of Osceola, Wisconsin, and the Wyoming, Minnesota, area.

State police say neighbors called 911 to report the fire. The fire department and state police are working to determine the cause of the fire.

Police didn’t immediately release additional information.
