FRANKLIN, Ind. (AP) - Johnson County authorities have identified the remains of a man found inside a burned pickup truck last week as the estranged husband of a woman set afire.

The coroner’s Office has ruled the death of Donn Keever a suicide. The 40-year-old Keever was accused of dousing his wife in gasoline and lighting her afire.

The Indianapolis Star reports (https://indy.st/1ghD77T) Amy Keever was transported to Eskenazi Hospital for treatment. But the extent of her injuries is unknown.

State Police officials said Donn Keever was traveling southbound Friday in the northbound lane of I-65 when his Dodge collided with a semi-trailer. Keever’s pickup was then struck by an SUV before coming to rest against a concrete barrier and erupting into flames.

The driver of the SUV was treated for non-life threatening injuries. The truck driver was uninjured.
