HADLEY, Mass. (AP) - Two western Massachusetts youths face trespassing charges after they climbed onto the roof of a school and one fell through a skylight.

The Daily Hampshire Gazette (https://bit.ly/1OKZzSo ) reports that police received a call at 4:40 p.m. Saturday that someone had fallen off the roof of Hopkins Academy in Hadley. Officers found that one of the juveniles actually fell 15 feet through a skylight and into a hallway below.

The teen was conscious when he was taken to a hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Police say the youths accessed the roof by climbing a tree. He estimates the broken skylight would cost $200 to fix.

The parents of both boys were informed that they would be summoned on trespassing charges. No ages were disclosed.
