July 28—BELLOWS FALLS — Police released information Monday night about two recent arrests they made as part of an ongoing investigation into the distribution of heroin in the Bellows Falls area.

Daniel C. Inman, 43, of Bellows Falls was arrested July 17 on allegations that he violated his parole, according to a news release issued by Bellows Falls police.

Shortly after his arrest, police executed a search warrant at Inman’s Oak Street apartment, which they say turned up 39 bags of suspected heroin, less than 1 ounce of marijuana and a .40 caliber handgun. Police seized those items as part of their ongoing investigation, according to the news release.

Also arrested was Kari C. Bazin, 35, of Rockingham, Vt. Bazin was taken into custody July 18 at her residence and charged with possession of heroin. In addition, she faces a probation violation charge and was therefore held at the Southern State Correctional Facility in Springfield, Vt., according to police.
