July 28—RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. — A boil water advisory has been issued by the city of Columbia Tuesday following a six-inch water main break near the Bon Air Drive community.

Water customers located in the 1300 block of Bon Air Drive to the intersection of Bon Air Drive and Townsend Street are urged to vigorously boil their water for one full minute prior to drinking or cooking. Any ice made from water that has not been boiled should not be used for drinking purposes.
